Privacy Policy
How information is processed in the Maps Lead Finder extensions, the Email Extractor, the shared account application and this website.
Status: candidate text pending owner publication, adapted from the published FreeEmailExtractor.net privacy policy, which governs the shared account application until this page is published.
Scope
ProspectChief provides the Google Maps Lead Finder and Bing Maps Lead Finder browser extensions, the Free Email Extractor extension and tools, an optional shared account application, and this website. This policy explains how information is processed when you use them.
Local-first collection in the Maps extensions
When you start a collection, the extension reads the business listings shown on the Google Maps or Bing Maps page you are viewing — name, category, address, phone, website, rating, review count, listing identifiers and similar listing details. Captured businesses are stored on your device (browser storage and IndexedDB) and are not uploaded merely because they were captured.
The extensions do not read your Google or Microsoft account, do not archive map pages, and do not bypass platform protections.
Website enrichment
To discover contact details, the business website you captured is fetched by our servers (not your browser) for contact pages, emails, phones and social profile links. Only the business website address is sent for this purpose. Discovered emails are stored with the page they were found on. Domain mail-routing checks (MX, provider) use DNS and describe the domain, not an individual mailbox.
Optional account saving
If you sign in and choose Save (or enable the Pro Autosave setting), the selected businesses, their discovered contacts and the project you chose are sent to our servers and stored in your account. Signing in connects the extension with a one-time code; the extension stores an access token and basic profile details, never your password.
Email verification
Mailbox verification is a separate, credit-based product. When an external verification provider is used we send only the email address and technically necessary parameters. Results are stored with your contacts and reused within a freshness window so you are not charged twice.
Accounts, billing and devices
Account data includes your email address, authentication credentials, subscription and credit status, projects, saved businesses and contacts, extension device connections and security logs. Card details are handled by our payment processor (Stripe); crypto payments, where enabled, are handled by the configured provider. We never receive card numbers.
Telemetry and analytics
We receive limited lifecycle events from the extensions (install, collection started, save, export, feedback) with counts and a pseudonymous installation identifier, associated with your account when signed in. They do not include captured business lists or raw page content. Website analytics, where used, are privacy-aware and never receive emails or private business records.
Retention and deletion
Local extension data stays on your device until you clear it or uninstall. Account data is retained while your account is active; you can delete saved businesses and contacts from the dashboard. Limited records may be retained for security, billing disputes or legal obligations.
Third parties
Stripe (payments), the configured crypto payment provider, DNS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google) for domain checks, the external mailbox-verification provider, and our hosting provider.
