Extraction and verification

Extraction finds an address that appears in text, a file, or a webpage. It does not prove that the mailbox exists. Mailbox verification is a separate check of whether that address can receive mail.

Mail Intelligence

Domain Mail Intelligence describes how mail is routed for a domain. It does not use verification credits, and it does not confirm one mailbox. An address with no mail route is left out before a paid mailbox check.

When a credit is used

A verification credit is used when a mailbox check runs. A result that is still fresh is reused and is not charged again unless you choose to reverify. Duplicate addresses in the same run are not charged twice. Opening this page does not start a check or use credits.

Where to run it

Sign in, then open Email verification. You can check one address, a list, or the unverified contacts in a project. The job page shows what was checked, what was reused, and what was excluded. A saved contact keeps its mailbox result.
